A resident of Pea Ridge in Cabell County, Jeanette is a Marshall University graduate and small business owner who is running for House of Delegates in District 17 (parts of Cabell and Wayne counties). Since 2009 she has provided communication and professional development services as an accredited consultant for non-profit organizations in West Virginia, with a focus on children's mental  health and child abuse prevention.

As someone uniquely qualified to understand issues and best practices around the well-being of children, Jeanette will work tirelessly to bring the voice of children and families to the table.

Jeanette is active in the United Methodist Church in her community, and currently serves a number of community and statewide organizations including the Cabell County Public Library board, the Carter G. Woodson Memorial Foundation, Greater Barboursville Community Outreach, West Virginia Food ER and the WV Team for Insulin Affordability. Jeanette has long been active in the Cabell County Democratic Women, and serves as the club's newsletter editor. She's also the author and publisher of the regional bicentennial history book, The Lost Village of Barboursville.

Married to Chuck Minsker for 37 years, Jeanette is "Meemaw" to two beautiful little girls, and the mother of two sons who, like so many of our adult children, moved out of West Virginia to follow their careers, but share their family's love and yearnings for their beautiful home state.
